  • I waited like 2 days. After the cord fell off, I continued to clean it at every diaper change with alcohol on a q-tip for those next 2 days, then I quit & started giving him regular tub baths.

  • you can give him a tub bath the minute it falls off and you will probably find he likes it better than a sponge bath

  • We waited one day after my daughters cord fell off before we gave her a tub bath, and she loved it SOOO MUCH. She HATED sponge baths!!

  • I would say that when you are ready have at it. It is SOO much easier to put baby in the baby tub and not worry about where the water goes!
