Can a toddler get a food allergy that she did not have when she was a baby?

  • Yes. And even an adult can suddenly develop an allergy to something previously not allergenic to them.

  • Yes, allergies can develop at any time in your life. But if you haven't seen definite signs of an allergic reaction, don't just assume that it's an allergy.

  • Sure when my sister was a baby she wasn't allergic to anything, when she became a toddler she couldn't eat concord grapes, she breaks out
