It seems like DH is more worried about spending time with the kids, then with me.

Should I be glad that he is such a great dad or a little jealous that we get no time together?

  • I think I'd be extremely happy that he was such a great dad. If I needed more of his time I'd suggest a date night too though. No sense in you getting resentful of your own kids.

  • I think it depends. Does he ever want to spend time with you or is all free time with the kids? What happens when the kids go to bed?

  • i voted chrisyq's answer up only because i know someone like this too and he is also divorced. it was a friend and after his divorce, i always said that i hope he meets someone who doesnt need any attention herself because he was so involved with his kids and cared about thier happiness. there needs to be something met in the middle, you cant ignore your SO.

  • we are the exact opposite. My dh is always wanting me and I have to remind him to love on ds too. It seems like whenever I am around I just get his attention but if it's just the two of them they are great!
