  • My first thought about a rich kid: They might be spoiled. I don't assume they ARE, but I know it's as much of a possibility for them as it is for a middle class child. However, MOST of the wealthier kids I've known were VERY spoiled, and very self centered. I've known a few that you never would have known they had a lot of money.

  • No. Because I came from a wealthy family and I KNOW I'm not spoiled. It depends on the parenting style. I've seen rich/spolied and rich/not spoiled.

  • No. I know some wealthy kids like that, but I also know some who are not. The same goes for less fortunate kids.

  • A good bit of the time they are. There are exceptions to every rule though.

We are not "rich" but we are very comfortable. And I consider my kids "spoiled" By that I mean they have never had to worry about food, cloths, toys, nice house, car, bills easily paid. I tell them they are lucky children and should be thankful!

Compared to a lot of children in the world they are spoiled to a happy easy life.

We do not hand them frivolous things though, they do not expect toys everyday or anything like that. ....but still by the rest of the worlds standards...spoiled. Know what I mean?

  • I never met one who wasn't spoiled, but that doesn't mean they all are.
