1 Bump

What's the difference between angel food cake and devils food cake? I have never made either, that's why I ask.

Angel food is a light fluffy white cake. Devil food is a rich chocolate cake.

One is super nice and one is evil, sorry I could not resist. Actually I think Angelfood is fluffy and light and Devilsfood is a heavier cake.

Angels food cake is a light and fluffy sponge cake, white. Devils food cake is regular cake and chocolate.

angel is soft, devil is moist and chocolatey......think of it this way...angel = not so bad 4 u....devil = not so good 4 u but tastes amazing!

Like what they said - BUT you can make a chocolate angel food cake, or strawberry, or a bunch of other flavors! It's made with whipped egg whites & no oil - devil's food is made with whole eggs & oil.
