  • No. We could use one of the 2 family cars but we didn't get our own car until we could pay for it., which for me was when I was 20 and moved away.

  • Nope but they bought the crib for our first. And a beautiful bedding set for our second. That was their baby gift to us

  • nope. and i have still never owned my own car. pretty sad that i'm 23 and never owned a car lol. i guess i have joint ownership with DH since both our names are on the car, but yeah. my parents didnt even pay for my permit or lisence.

  • Dude I got baby gear on my mind. I glanced and thougth it said CAR SEAT. Duh. :P But no... I bought my own car when I was 17. But I tell you what.... now as a parent, I would never stand for that. I would definitely buy my kids car or let them use a family car. My parents could never say "hand over the keys" when they grounded me because it was mine and I had paid for it. I will definitely have the control over my kids. =P

  • they didnt buy any of the 4 of us a car. but they agreed to drive us to and from work until we could buy our own.

  • I was given the used unwanted 1976 4-door Chevy Impala with 100,000 miles on it. And then I became the Chauffeur to my 3 younger siblings. Then my parents bought themselves a new car.
