Did you get married before having kids?

I'm a single 21 yo mom to beautiful 2yo boy. I'm engaged to his father. I'm just curious if you were married before having your child or if you weren't at the time of having your child do you plan on telling your child?

  • We got pregnant before we got married, but we were married before our son was born - and it wasn't because we were pregnant, lol. We knew that's what we were choosing when we decided to get back together because we've wanted to be together since 6th grade, haha. :)

  • We were married first, but if I didn't have a miscarriage with our first baby, then it would have been after, most likely.

  • we were married first... I would advise that honesty is always best. I have been married before and my daughter know this from me... I don't ever want her to hear about my life from someone else

  • I was engaged, but her father and I are off and on... soon to be definitely off. So no marriage.

  • Yes. I was raised that you have the reception and then the conception.
