  • During pregnancy, the Brewer or SPUN diet.

    Any other time, lots of veggies. LOTS OF VEGGIES. Lean meats, whole grains.

  • There is a diet that is called DASH that is supposed to be good for people with HBP.

  • I have HBP and had to give up salt entirely (actually lost 20 lbs) . . . quite a bit of veggies and a daily banana. I have medication, but don't take it unless i have to, would rather work with diet modification. Have learned to read sodium labels and have been shocked at how much there is. Tons of water also helps.

    you have to live your whole life as well as possible if you want to be as well as possible.
