Which situation would bother you more?

Ok, first of all, this is NOT a real situation! Second, pretend that you have to have surgery. Would it bother you more if:

You found out that this was the first year your surgeon was practicing?
Your surgeon was HIV positive?

  • The inexperienced surgeon would bother me much more. I assume the HIV+ doc knows how to keep himself and his patients safe but I don't need to be any doctor's practice body.

  • Neither, I work in medical and with extensive training it is all good and HIV positive well he would be extra cautious I'm sure.
