Platinium,Titanium, or Tungsten rings....

I need some feedback for these types of rings. (for my engagement ring) My main concern is will they turn my finger green,...the only kind of ring I wear it sterling silver.

  • platinum is the most cosmetic, but tungsten is the strongest most durable

    as far as i know, cheap gold is the only thing that turns fingers green

  • First off - Congratulations!!! What's your religion? Sometimes that makes a difference, from what I was told. Example, catholics have to have a gold band - mine is a gold band with platinum inlay.

  • My ring is white gold because I wear mostly all silver/ white gold jewelry. I have been married 7 years this December and it still looks like the day my husband put it on my finger. :) I never take it off and our initials are engraved on the inner side.

  • I have a white gold ring and a platinum one... they both look about the same... but the white gold ring scratched up easier than the platinum one.
