Does breast size have anything to do with breast cancer risk?

I've known 2 ladies with the disease. One has went to be with God and the other has been in remission for 9 years and had a double masectomy. I'm just wondering if the size has anything to do with it. My family has no history of it and I eat well.

  • There is some association with breast density and breast cancer. Breast density is not the size of the breast though.

  • No, breastcancer is hereditary. Women with breasts of all sizes get it

  • Not at all. The women in my family are on the IBTC (Itty bitty titty committee) and my mom and grandmother both have Breast Cancer.

  • breast size has nothing to do with it , its has to do with genetics and diet, i've seen women with big breast and women with small breasts have breast cancer even men get it so it has nothing to do with size

  • No breast size doesn't play any roll in breast cancer.
