  • I'd love to live in a time and place where computers didn't exist....Any time before electricity would be good for me.

  • I'd say the 1950s. That's around when my parents were born and while they were poor, they were happy. They found ways to be happy. They did stuff. They didn't have electricity or even inside toilets but they were still happy... My generation and my children's generation are spoiled. No matter what we have we can find a way to still be unhappy... odd, isn't it?

  • post World War II was a very happy time for our country, especially for white males who were the top of the "food chain" at that time for many years following. But yeah I think the world was a lot bigger and safer and (to some extent) more relaxed before the advent of the internet, at least.

  • I've always been obsessed with medieval times, the Renaissance and the 1800's. I'm also fond of the 20's, in the days of flappers and bootlegging.
