Can anyone explain to me what has changed in the last year, to make this statement anything other than a lie?

  • I don't see any facts here that disprove what is being said. If you stop and think about it, the businesses that make $200,000-$250,000 or more are everywhere. On every corner. The fast food places, the hardware stores, the grocery stores, the clothing stores, the construction companies and myriads of medical offices and facilities, At every turn you will find these businesses. Sure it may not be your Avon lady or your yard man but the amount of businesses that it will include hire millions of people every year. Whats going to happen to them? Just as they were when things got rough they will be let go. More people will be unemployed. This is just common sense. Something we know liberals have little of. If you can really dispute this, please try.

  • The WH finally got the bill for the spending sprees they have been on. You can't sustain that sort of spending without it requiring more tax dollars to pay for it.

  • I think it boils down to just one major decision for his supporters.
Do you like the Old Obama or the New Obama better?
I agree with Steph, with these articles it is pretty hard to dispute the fact that he is doing exactly the opposite of what he not only recommended but what he said he would do. So that makes him a liar and a flip flopper. What is the real reason he has decided to continue with tax hikes, to satisfly the left or to continue the degredation of the US economy? Or both? Jan 1,2013 a good portion of his decisions will be repealed hopefully some can be by EO.
What kind of person on the left after viewing these would continue to give him a pass?

  • itsmesteph11 is right. Last year they implemented a 3.4% surcharge tax here in Oregon for those making $250,000 and above. You get to pay the surtax first because it is on the total income BEFORE making any deductions...even regular business expenses like salaries! They made it worse by retroactiving it to the previous year.

One company closed down pretty quickly because they didn't have the extra cash to pay the "back" taxes let alone the new ones coming. Twenty-two people lost their jobs and the owner ultimately lost his home. Oh, did I mention the company was a little MANUFACTURING know they MADE something??
