  • It can work, with the right therapist for the couple, and a couple that BOTH want to make the relationship work.

  • yes and no
depends on the couple and if BOTH are willing to try
    good luck

  • Only if the two people can take something positive away from it

  • Counseling will only work if you are BOTH honest and you are BOTH willing to work at it... Love is a verb and it requires action!

Answer by kamore at 9:49 AM on Sep. 22, 2010

  • I only think it works if the BOTH WANT it to work.

  • It can work.. I just don't understand when some people go to marriage counseling one time.. and either one or both act like all the sudden everything is great for that week... Then the next week they are on the verge of divorce again.

SO, I think if people really need it and are willing to both do it... Then don't do it half-ass.

  • I agree with the others, you need to find a good therapist (not all of them are good at what they do) and both people have to be willing to work at it. If your mind's already made up (like mine was) no amount of counseling will get through to you
