How do I find the garbage smell in my kitchen?

I have pulled out the fridge and cleaned under the range, pull drawers out of cabinets and I can't find a garbage smell. It's going on 3 weeks so it has to be the side by side fridge. I took off the bottom panel and vacumed. The drip pan doesn't come out but it is empty. Smells like meat wrappers. Nasty!Jody620

  • put a box of baking soda in the fridge and freezer. do you have a dishwasher or disposal? If so dump a cup of vinegar in the dishwasher empty through a cycle with the vinegar. Those are where my smells are usually coming from.

  • did you try pouring bleach down the sink? Sometimes our sink just smells so bad and that helps. as for the drip pan not coming out, that is odd. check online to see if there is a way to remove it

  • Unused coffee grounds in a dish helps keep the fridge smelling good.
