what is the best type of beef to make Pot roast?

I never made it so i dont know what kind of meat i am supposed to look for and buy? thanks!

  • Chuck Shoulder Roast. Make sure it's marbled with fat to give it the best chance of being juicy.

  • Chuck roast! btw..Lipton's beefy onion soup mix has a great recipe on the box for pot roast! You've made me hungry!

  • A rump roast is the best, cook it slow for a couple of hours and add onion, carrots and potato to your dutch oven. Serve with a crisp green salad and hot biscuits!
