Is Blue Cross/Blue Sheild an expensive health insurance?

  • Depends on your state and how much your employer pays into it. For BCBS of TX for a family (unlimited children) is 1600/mo premiums at my husband's job, I don't think they pay much into it.

  • depends on the plan too .... I have to pay for myself around 340 dollars. It went up because of my age.. which I think sucks as I am very healthy and rarely see a doctor!

  • depends on the ages, health issues, smoker or non, ect. my husband is able to cover himself and 2 boys for around $340 a month w dental included. the higher the deductable the less expensive too. call them and get a quote.

  • Like others said, it depends. I have Blue options for Myself, healthy almost 30 year old and my two daughters, 4 years and 10 months. IT's $303 a month self pay.
