  • I've had three cesareans and I can't see how that could cause POF. Although the uterus has had an incision it shouldn't affect your ovaries unless there was some damage during surgery. With my last pregnancy, I had gotten pregant with her when my son was only 8 months old. I was breastfeeding too, so it was a surpise! The reasons for POF include: Autoimmune Disorder, Chromosomal Irregularity of the x Chromosome. Hysterectomy and tubal ligation can also cause early menopause. Hope this helps! :)

  • I never heard of that. I didn't get it with 2 c-sections.

  • I've had 2 c-sections. I know a mother who has had 6, so I would say it's not very likely. Now getting your tubes tied CAN cause POF

  • premature ovarian failure, kind of like menopause for women before the age of 40 but they still have AF and have a chance of getting pregnant, just a reduced chance. they don't count it menopause till the woman has went a year without AF
