  • You get 6 weeks short term disability for child birth. 8 weeks for c-section.

  • It depends on the company you have the STD with and the company you work for. Through FMLA you are allowed 12 weeks leave.

  • shoot, I tried to get unemployment when I took my 6 weeks from work and I was denied because I was not ready to work.
    So I am wondering the same thing...

  • I don't think you can get onto disability for any amt. of terms for being pregnant. Unless you have some type of disability then you might be able to be on it.
