  • ANON...gastrointestinal upset and a child eating bugs and larvae isn't an immediate health risk? WTH?

  • nasty...I BF

  • It's already been posted. There are no immediate health risks, but it's pretty gross.
I would say your baby swallowing insect body parts is a health risk and it is digusting.

  • I called my sister to let her know, she had no idea and her current container had been recalled when i put the lot # in :( The website says to return it to the store that you bought it from or return it to Abbott per the instructions on the website

  • Saw that earlier.  We use store brand formula.

Answer by justanotherjen at 7:36 PM on Sep. 22, 2010

  • Justanotherjen....FYI, many big brands also make the store brands, so you should still look into it just to be safe! Best wishes to everyone's little ones! So sick and gross! We do eat a lot of bug parts, mouse hairs and whatnot though each day without knowing.....bread mills and stuff are allowed only so much crap in their foods, but STILL...that's too much crap for me! YUCK! However, our bodies are much stronger and tolerant than a tiny little infant body. Very informative post, OP. I'm sure it will help many.
