How do I get urine out of our couch?

  • Most cushions have zippers so you can remove the cover to wash in the washing machine. Use cold water and don't use high heat to dry. Try air drying so they don't shrink up. I'd use baking soda on the (foam?) cushion itself.

  • I have the same question. What kind of couch is it? we have a microfiber suede couch and you can't just throw the cushion covers in the wash. I have heard moms suggest sprinkling baking soda on it and letting it sit overnight, then vacuum.

  • These can be tricky stains as what you use can damage the fabric and cause a bigger problem. I would only use an upholstery cleaner and test it on the hem underside before I use it on the stain. Try looking at a home improvement store, or at an furniture store for the cleaners. good luck
