Is the name Khalen for either sex?

My husband found this name and said it was fora girl, but I had a friend say it could work for a boy too.

  • Is it pronounced Cal-en? It sounds more masculine to me. Callen made our top 3 for this baby (a boy).

  • for me it sounds for a girl.. kyle is more male the len part in khalen is what makes it girly.

  • When I first look at it, I think it's pronounced "Kay-Leen" so for a girl. :)

  • I think depending on the spelling it could work for either sex. Khalen (or Kaylen or Kalen) could work for a boy, while Cailen or Caylen or Kaylen could work for a girl.

  • i thought boy name as well..maybe if it was spelled kaylynn...caylynn..it looks more feminine that way
