  • My boys have all been breastfed to some extent, my oldest two did have formula for a period of time as they got older due to subsequent pregnancies, supply issues and preterm labor, my current nursling is 6 months old and going strong =)

  • I did with my oldest. I did not make enough milk and when I worked could not pump enough for what he needed. I did EBF the younger two. But I BF my oldest 10mos then he formula fed for 2mos. I weaned him because I was pregnant.

  • I pumped for 6 weeks, He had another weeks worth in the freezer (so 7 weeks of BM total) and then he had formula until 12 months.

  • yep. I don't make enough milk even though I have talked with lactation consultants and doc and taken everything I could find that should help and I'm one of those unlucky people how cant pump, it just doesnt work for me. So I do both!!

  • I BF and FF at the same time. My Bmilk wasn't enough for her (i had ALOT of milk) so she pead suggested I give her a little Formula for it's filling properies and BF for the antibodies. Worked like a charm

  • I BF right up to about 7 months and my supply diminshed even though I pumped constantly. He is 11 months and has been on formula since.
