  • Ringworm is a fungus.

The vet gives medication for the cat, and you'll need to clean your house really well. And if any people in the house get it they'll need some cream.

A kitten we got a few years ago had it. It was gross, etc, but not very difficult to get rid of.

  • I do not know about animals, but you can use the same thing people use for athletes foot, might sound weird, but it is true, you can.

  • Ringworm is a fungus, it's not an actual worm. You treat it with an antifungal. So yes, lotrimin would work. I've had great success with plain apple cider vinegar tho.
