  • I have been in that position before and it was an easy one for us. We had wonderful neighbors that let us tap into their electricity when we needed to warm things up to eat, have light to give our son a bath and even allowed us to plug in so our son could watch TV while having his milk before bedtime. Going without water means, no showers, no brushing your teeth, no flushing the toilet, etc.

It's a tough question. But, I guess it also depends on if you are just asking is hypothetically or because you are in a situation you might loose one or the other.

  • I have lost electricty before....and I couldnt stand it! So I would rather go without water, since I have a relative just around the corner to use the bathroom/shower.
