how can I get my 4 month old to go to sleep earlier?

She refuses to go to sleep before midnight! She naps ok most days, one nap 2 hours in the morning one nap up to 3 hours in the afternoon one nap 30 minutes in the early evening 6/7 pm or so, and stays up until 12!! last time I tried eliminating a nap she stayed awake even longer we didnt sleep until 4 am that night so Im nervous to wake her early from a nap. any ideas? my hubby and I are desperate!

  • I had more or less the same problem. A midwife suggested we move her bathtime to 18:00. After a few weeks , she got into the whole routine of bath, bottle then bed. Now shes asleep at approx 20:00 and only wakes up at 2:00 am for her next feed.
