Is this price fair enough? Added details sicne I don't think I explained it correctly.

There is a church that has a Mother's Day Out Program. They may or may not feed your child lunch. I don't have that detail yet, but soon will. They charge $65 a month to use there service. It is from 9am to 1:30 pm. You get a babysitter 4 or 5 times a month depending on how many weeks are in a month. This is for non school age children. So there may or may not be diaper changes. Just depends on how old the child is. So 1 day EVERY week you have someone to watch your child from 9am to 1:30pm. So that means every Tuesday I take my child there from 9am to 1:30pm for $65 a month.

  • So for 4 1/2 hours (sometimes 5) every week (18-22.5 hours a month) you end up paying between $3.61-$2.89 per hours for well supervised babysitting...score one for mom!!!!

  • It sounds like a fair program. Especially if it will be providing socialization in a safe and trusted setting.

  • . IF you take your child once a week that is an acceptable price. You may be asked to bring a lunch which is still ok. I'm sure if your child needs a diaper change they will do it. That's less than $.3.00 an hour, a good deal.

  • Sounds good but it also depends if you child likes it as well.  Price does sound reasonable and you can get a lot things done if you have business matters to take care of.  Give it a try for a month and see how it goes.

  • It sounds high to me, but prices for babysitting vary from city to city.
