  • Homemade. If you wait until they can sit up and eat on their can just feed them what you eat and never have to buy the jar stuff.

  • Homemade. It is super easy! Mash up some of what you are having

Answer by Mommy2Gabrielle at 8:48 AM on Sep. 23, 2010

  • Homemade. Its fresh. No preservatives or additives. You know exactly what you put into your baby's mouth. If you don't want to have to make something every day. Choose a time once a week to precook some meals. Put them in individual containers and freeze. Make sure you date the lids so you are always keep things fresh. Also make sure you include veggies and protein and fruit. Make it a fun time. Turn on your favorite music, get some receipes from other Cafemoms to make it easy on yourself. Have some other mom's join in and group cook so you can share and exchange! Just a thought...

  • Even easier than "homemade puree", is just regular homemade table food! We do babyled solids here and my girl has no teeth and can devour a whole piece of fruit by herself, including apples.
