anyone else pissed about the similac recall?

  • Yes. You figure with all the money that they charge and receive they would, at least, be able to make (a) a more superior product then what they have now and (b) cleaner factories.

  • i did not know of any recall on this item until now but i used to think similac was one of the top brands and a highly respected company, so you'd be lucky to have this. so yes, whatever it is that made this item a recall makes my reasons for this formula a lower expectation.

  • I don't use similac but it definetly still pisses me off. Scary that we're giving our kids ANYTHING that could possibly be contaminated like that....gross

  • Here's the thing. Turn that anger into ACTION. Tell your lawmakers to DEMAND that formula companies do a better job of managing their production facilities. We require restaurants to pass regular health inspections... we should demand no less for the food going into our babies!

    Expect to hear congressional hearings on this coming up shortly.
