Whats the best part of being an Atheist?

Is freeing to only live for today?
Is it the feeling of self-reliance?
or is it the smugness you feel when you call others "Brainwashed"

What do you like best?

  • From what I have seen here, it looks like some really enjoy getting Christians riled up.

  • I would have to assume that it is the absence of guilt for everyday decisions, and the ability to make everyday decisions without impacting the upcoming apocalypse. But I could be wrong.

  • Wow that last part was definitely a dig...

I personally don't ever call anyone brainwashed; I hate it when people condemn me for my beliefs, why would I condemn someone else?

  • It's the great freedom of not having to inform others they are going to hell because they don't believe as I do. That takes a load off me for sure! It's wonderful to not have the burden of going door to door trying to talk people into my beliefs.
