homemade babyfood...

My son just got his first teeth in!! yay! Anywho i am wondering how long food will keep after i make it for him? This week i am doing carrots... I boiled them and mashed them up with the cashco baby masher... How long does it keep? How many days should i cook him a new one or should i just cook them fresh everyday? any tips help thanks.

  • I cooked the carrots fresh every day. Only cook as many as you need so you wont waste any.
    I usually cooked them in the morning so she would have them ready for lunch. When my daughter was 4 months old i started to add a little potatoe. she loved it :)

    And congratulations on the first teeth!!! :)

  • Another great idea is to make a lot and then freeze them. Many people use an ice cube tray so you have little portions whenever you need them.
