  • blind feelies! Take a few boxes and cut wholes in them just big enough for a hand to fit through. Inside place bowls with things like peeled grapes (eyeballs) spagetti (worms), blended jello with fruit (brains) Etc. the kids love it!

  • well i havent done this...but right oft the bat i thought of apple bobbing.

i remember being in this thing where you had to crawl through it, it was dark and they had blankets or canvas over it and you couldnt see above and you had to stop and put your hand in wet noodles and other stuff that you'd think was disgusting but really wasnt. then you keep crawling and stop to the next station for whatever it is. this was when i was a child and its not a clear memory anymore but that could be fun too!!!

  • cookie decorating table. make pumpkin shaped sugar cookies and have them at a table with orange (and black if you're brave) frosting with Halloween sprinkles and plastic knives. The kids can put their own frosting and sprinkles on their cookie before eating it.

  • i have also made halloween cupcakes and make white chocolate skulls to place on top of them. the thing that didnt turn out good for me is caramal apples, nobody wants to eat a WHOLE apple so if you want to do an apple maybe slices of them but then you have brown apples eventually

  • i had a halloween party for my 5yo and his friends last year. we had a pumpkin decorating area (we used foam stickers from walmart, cheap & easy). we had a make your own candy necklace area (kits from walmart). bobbing for apples was a huge hit. we had a "bat" pinata which was also popular. there are tons of fun things you can do and they don't have to be messy or expensive.

  • At a friends party she had a cute idea instead of a dino dig in the sand box they did a skeleton dig. Basically she painted dog bones with white craft paint and had the kids dig for bones. They LOVED it!
