  • She'll get past this. It's a stage, a lot of them go through it. Keep the lights off at night. She'll adjust - good luck!

  • This may sound silly, but it was a small "ah-ha" when someone told me.. Babies are not told upon delivery "Welcome to the year 2010 where you will sleep safely in your crib".. Babies just want survival.. Back in the caveman days, a baby left alone, or in a dark place was not good! ... So if your baby wants to stay awake all night, or cried anytime hse alone it may make a lil more sense..
Also babies schedules change all the time! Once you get into a good routine... It WILL change.. If you try forcing a baby into a certain schedule you are stressing yourself out more & the baby.. Just keep in mind "this too shall pass" by the 1st/2nd bday they will be on a normal schedule... The joys of mommy-hood!

  • She's two weeks old. She's not going to be on a sleep schedule, especially one that you agree with. She'll grow out of it, she'll change her days/nights around. Just give her time.
