When you quit your job, how do you withdrawl your retirement fund?

  • You request them to send you a check, make sure you put it into another retirement fund ASAP or you will be taxed up to 50% as income. Just take out the monthly amounts you need to live on each month, a good retirement planner can help you. You can do a ladder CD which is buying CD's and let them mature at $2000 to $5000 a month depending on what income you need so you won't be taxed til you cash them.
