  • I don't anymore. I can never even button my jeans when i'm wearing them, and i'm too afraid of scratching the baby to bother.....and I hate how thin and weak it makes my actual nails. I rarely even polish my nails thesedays

  • No. I had a friend that had them at work and I found out where she went. I started going there too and getting mine done. Then after only a couple of times, when they took them off my real nails were so thin they were like paper! It was gross. If you ever stop after starting, it takes awhile to get them back to their healthy state again. Not worth it to me!

  • I used to get mine done every 2 weeks...for about 3 years(when I was 14-17)..I stopped because not only does it ruin your own nails..As someone said your nails are paper thin...

They also harbor a bacteria that only acrylic has...Its quite disgusting..Being a Phlebotomist this is a major problem...And now having a newborn I dont want that bacteria near him either...

  • No. I have naturally thin nails and it's painful for me when they apply them or have to remove them. Plus, when I wear my contacts instead of my glasses, having any kind of nail means I tear my contacts.

  • Used to on and off for 20 years but now I wear Gel over my natural nails. It just keeps my natural nails from breaking and it keeps my nails shiny at all times. I love it!
