  • usually they leave money..... it's my husband who leaves more important stuff like papers which get ruined (or tissues that make a huge mess). i tell him to clean out his pockets and i tell the kids to clean out theirs or momma will keep the money as a tip. hubby cleaned up his act, but the boys still forget (they're young still) and i made 85 cents last laundry day. woohoo!

  • One time, my son left a tube of Chapstick in his pocket. I was a very angry mom when I discovered it. In the dryer. With my favorite shirt dotted with greasy stains.

  • Hmm, DH has had his wallet washed twice (did it himself), but I've washed his pocket knife too many times.
Oldest DD...God, too many times to count, gum, jewelry, rocks, money, random shit, drives me nuts.
Other 3 kids...don't think they've really done anything yet.
Me...paper, money, tissues, other random crazy stuff.
Yeah, I'm not a good pocket checker, apparently. Not my fault they can't empty their pockets when they're told at least once a week to do it.
