Anyone have some great ideas for apples?

My daughters PRE-K class is doing Johnny Appleseed next week and they have said that we could do a Apple dessert if we wanted to share with the class.

Any idea for CHEAP Apple snacks for kid age 4?

  • Fresh apple cake! It's not very sweet and great for breakfast or a snack. My 4 year old loves it. If you want the recipe i can send it to you when i get home. Just send me a message. Unfortunetly i dont have it at the office with me.

Another idea would be smothered and covered apples- just slice them- cover them in PB- then top with choc chips, raisens, or nuts

  • I just made apple turnover type things with DD. All I did was take croissant dough from a tube and put a spoonful of applesauce and an apple chunk or two in the middle and fold it over, bake.... and it's a tasty, simple, cheap treat! oh yeah, and I sprinkled a little cinnamin over the top, it was good!

  • Not very long, I think I put them in for about 10 -15 minutes.
