  • I wanted to when I was younger b/c people had a hard time pronouncing it, but as I have gotten older I have come to love my name.

    but better that name the sara lee what was my mothers 2nd choice....
    i go by jossy i like it its ok for me...

  • @Amber Rose ~ Your name is much better than being named Audrey

    I happen to like my name, but my Grammy wanted me to be named Wenonah after someone in her family who was Blackfoot...I think her father's sister (her aunt). My mom chose to name me after her dearest friend instead so my Grammy named her puppy Wenonah....I grew up with that puppy. :) Grammy did make sure that I was given a naming ceremony on the Rez and my Blackfoot name is Owaci Tate.
