Does it cost money to get your daughter into Girl scouts?

This may sound stupid, but I am clueless on this stuff. I have gone to their website, but it isn't as descriptive as I thought it would be.

  • Yes. Sometimes there is money available for families that can't afford membership fees either at the troop or council level. I would call the council. Go to google and type in girl scouts and your city or state and you should find some office listings.

  • Some groups ARE free and some organizations.

I want to be sure this is something we can afford before I offer the opportunity to my daughter.

Sarcasm is not appreciated or necessary.
