  • No. My 3 & 4yos both have the old Nintendo Gameboy Advances and honestly take rather good care of them... I would get my oldest a DS, no problem...

  • My 5 year old loves to play with her sister's DS. I only let her play it on weekends though. We are thinking of getting her one for Christmas.

  • It depends on the games. My dd used the ds when she was four - the nintendogs game was perfect for her and it helped alot on car rides. Other games, my dh and dd would play together (she mostly watched), so it was a thing they could do together. She trashed alot of styluses by chewing on them though. UGH.
