How do you know if you have a thyroid problem?

I have alot of family members with thyroid problems and just wondering how I would know if I had one as well?

  • Blood test to check your levels would be a good start. Just have your doc do a complete blood-work up. Ask specifically. He/she can also tell you symptoms.

  • Blood work and an ultrasound. I had thyroid cancer. My levels were completely normal but I a tumor on my thyroid. Just keep a check on it.

  • Well several things 1) tiredness 2) weight gain that won't go away 3) your limp noids on your neck get swallen
