Anyone catch Roseola from their toddler?

My toddler caught Roseola (now getting over it) and in the last day, I have developed mouth ulcers on my soft palate - roof of my mouth, towards the back. As they both are caused by one of the Herpes strands (I know, ew), could this mean I 'caught' Roseola from my kiddo? Worried about infecting others...

  • Sounds more like hand, foot mouth disease - not roseola.

  • One of my kids had roseola when they were a baby but I never thought much of it as being contageous for Adults. I really believed it was a children's illness.
