When your child goes from the booster/carseat to the rugualr seat what is the requirments? I am in California
Is it:
A. 6 years and 60 lbs
B. 6 years or 60 lbs?

  • it is recommended that children stay in a booster until they are 4'9" or at least 8 years old...I am not sure what california's law is but in ohio it is 8 years or 4'9' tall. They should stay in a booster seat until the seatbelt fits them correctly laying on the shoulder not touching the neck and lays across the lap without riding up onto the belly.

  • Michigan they changed, so not up to 8 (or a huge kid) in a booster.

  • WV is 4'9 or 8 years. My son will hit the 4'9 before 8 years.
