  • How old are the kids? I love to make Christmas ornaments out of styrofoam balls. You take a straight pin and put a tiny bead on it and then you put a round sequin on it and push it into the styrofoam ball, overlapping just a litttle. It makes such a sparkly, cool-looking ornament, but I don't know if your kids are old enough for pins.
    For little kids, make a dough out of salt, water and flour. Roll it out like Christmas cutter cookies. Use cookie cutters to cut out shapes. Bake them on low heat (poke holes first so you can hang them) and then paint them. They are great for attatching to presents. They look like cookies!

  • I love cutting snowflakes from white paper. we add glitter sometimes and hang them from the ceiling! Cheap and easy.... and you can add more whenever you want to!

  • I love seasonal crafts. The nicest craft was my son's communion banner. That was fun and symbolic and still hangs in his room...
