  • I use a de-frizzing product and I use a huge round brush and I blow it dry in sections (if I want my hair straight). It always looks nice and sleek.
I use a diffuser if I want it to stay wavy or curly.

  • I use a towel and then brush it and let it dry naturally cause I hear that using a hair dryer kills your hair lol

^^ This.. Blow drying really isn't hard on your hair unless your hair is already really damaged from chemical usage. If your hair is healthy, its fine to blow it dry everytime you wash it.

  • use the blowdryer properly.

1- try a concentrator nozzle to attach to your blow dryer. and pull down by sections, blow dry in the direction of the cuticle of the hair shaft from roots to ends.

2- try a comb concentrator nozzle (same as above)

for curly looks use a diffuzer nozzle.

also use a thermal protectant (moose or spray for fine hair, and spray for medium, and gel or spray for coarse).

  • @mama408:

brushing wet hair is just as damaging to hair as blow drying it.

and no blow drying doesn't kill your hair.
nothing can kill your hair, it's dead anyways.
But there are things that will keep nutrients in your hair and others that will destroy them. Blowdrying incorrectly can be one of those things.. but again, I note INCORRECTLY.

  • I don't blow dry my hair or brush it when its wet :) My hair is oily and super healthy so it probably wouldn't matter if I did, I am just completely lazy. And it looks the same whether I style it or not so I figure, why bother?

  • You can simply blow dry with a cool to warm setting. Never use high. Also, I would suggest a product called Enjoy Hair and Skin Treatment Oil. It's absolutely weightless, non greasy, humidity resistant, and it's a heat protectant!! Read about it here: Enjoy
