  • they are 3 & 4.
As of right now they have to keep their toys and laundry cleaned up. Scrape and clean up their plates. Help me up their laundry away, although I wash, dry and fold it. And clean up after themselves... They also do things like getting themselves ready for "quite time" and a few smaller things...

  • My ds is 2 will be 3 in December and he picks up his toys & helps put clothes away.
DD is 4 will be 5 in December and she picks up toys, helps put clothes away, makes her bed, and sometimes helps put dishes away of course the non breakable ones.

  • The ones at home are 3, 9 and 15. My 15 y/o dust the living room and vacuums, she also folds laundry and puts dishes away when she's home from school. My 9y/o vacuums the living room, his room and his lil sisters room. My 3 y/o just helps us all. She will help fold laundry, put the towels/wash cloths away, put silverware away, etc. My older two do extra stuff too, but this is their set chores that they are responsible for.

  • Mine are 4 1/2, almost 8, almost 9 and 10.  They all have to keep their toys, books and clothes picked up, clean up any messes they make in other rooms, sweep the floors and clean the counters if they make a mess, empty the dishwasher when asked, take out the trash/recycling, help carry in groceries, clean their bathroom, help with the baby when asked, fold and put away their clean clothes.

Up until August the older 3 were also responsible for washing and drying their own clothes.  Since we moved we do laundry at the laundromat while they are in school so they just fold now.

  • 15:dishes, her laundry, vacuums, dusts, straights up, cooks 13: takes out trash, dishes, puts away his laundry, vacuums, dusts, straights up, mow lawn, cooks, 10: vacuum, dusts, helps put dishes away, clears off table, folds clothes. They all help with laundry, folding, matching socks, putting away. Everyone is SUPPOSED to put their dinnerware in the dishwasher, rinsed. Everyone is SUPPOSED to pick up their stuff after themselves. Any other chore I can think of at the time, they do.

  • Six - Puts away her folded laundry, cleans her room, cleans up her place at the table, picks up her toys. Doing the dishes is not actually one of her chores but she begs me to let her do them.

  • My children are 10, 8, and 5 (the baby is 6 mos, no chores yet! :) They have AM chores, Noon chores and PM chores. 10yo DS~clean room, get dressed, empty dishwasher, start laundry on Mon and Thur, help with breakfast and brush teeth. Noon~Clean bathroom, swiffer upstairs, laundry on Mon and Thur. PM~Dinner helper (on his night), Tidy house, after dinner clear table, sweep floors, shower brusth teeth, jammies. 8yo DD~Same as DS except she brings down my laundry and sorts instead of dishwasher. After dinner she wipes down table instead of sweeps. 5yo DS~Same am chores as other DS, at noon he wipes down the half bath and same PM chores minus sweeping. On Fridays they have a different list of chores as this is our deeper cleaning day. We have a chore chart in our cleaing room that they can mark off with a dry erase marker.
