  • when I'm dieting, ground turkey or chicken.

    When I'm not, ground beef.

    Although, one time, I found beef heart steaks in a store for very cheap. Cubed and seared, those made the most delicious chili I've ever made!

  • When I make it which isn't often anymore I would make it with 1/2 ground turkey 1/2 hamburger years ago when my ex was deer hunting I would make it with ground up deer people loved that I was always asked to bring it for our New Years day lunch
