spank or dont spank?

in my opinion i think a little swat on the butt is ok if needed. for example.. i spank my two year old for getting toys and smacking my nine month old in the head really really hard with them. if you dont spank how do you punish your little ones?

  • I agree with you as well. Spanking is not Beating, and done in conjunction with other disciplinary measures as well as done consistently it's a wonderful way to teach boundaries and consequences... Frankly, there are quite a few children out there who need a crack on the butt!

  • I don't spank spank unless its extremely serious. I have swatted and will. My son lose privileges like, we take away his favorite toys or time out or loss of tv time. However, he is pushing it at times these days, so maybe a good spank will be needed in the near future.

  • Spanking is abuse. There is no reason to put your hands on another person for any reason at all!
