  • My pediatrician told me that shrimp allergy is an allergy that usually manifests later on and does not show up in the younger years. I was particularly concerned because my father has a very severe shrimp allergy... he starts to swell up just from touching shrimp. I still only let my son have small amounts of shrimp at one time just in case he might develop a sensitivity earlier than usual.
