Is my baby's on it's way?

Im 37 weeks. At my last 2 doctors visits, she has told me that the babys head is vary low. Down far. And I can feel the pressure of it laying down/ or even walking. The last 3-4 days, the muscles in my inner thy's near ware the baby is has been hurting really bad. It is getting harder to walk, or sit without some pain. Could this mean that the baby's on it's way? Or am I just having a normal bothersom timeframe of discomfort?

  • You're def getting close to the end. The pressure/pain gets worse as the baby is lower. Welcome to the baby waddle. :P But remember, walking is good and can help to dilate. ;)

  • It means the baby is preparing itself to be born and it's making its way down the birth canal. I actually need this to happen for me, which it hasnt yet and my due date is Thursday.

  • Sounds like normal stuff!

Birth is a process that probably lasts about a month or more, when
you think of how the baby works his/her way into position, mom's body
prepares with the uterus thickening at the top and thinning at the
bottom and the cervix prepares itself to dilate for the final pushes in
this process. It is such an amazing, divine plan.

Just as a woman's heart knows,

    How and when to pump,

    Her lungs to inhale,

And her hand to pull back from fire,

So she knows when and how to give birth.
